Recently working in the area I had a dilemma where my van needed a quick repair , I work nationwide and had fault on the van which would prevent me continuing my journey as well as my bonnet catch had broken , I contacted this garage and even though they was fully booked after explaining my situation they got me in right away and repaired my van. Am a key worker and I was able to continue my work around the country , it was only a minor repair but essential it only took them 5 minutes and they didn't even charge me you don't find many real genuine people like this I can't thank you enough. If I was local to the area I would use this garage as my place to go.
Not impressed with my last two visits here. The first time in September, they had a 'take a number and wait in your car' system. Well, I took a number and waited patiently. After about 45 minutes I was getting bored and rang from outside to see how long it might take, only to be told that they hadn't seen me waiting. Apparently despite being parked right outside, they said I was in a blind spot on the CCTV. No apology forthcoming. In December I returned. The numbers had been taken away, so not wanting to not be noticed again, I called them and explained that I was outside and asked what the system was now. The person on the phone said I would have to wait my turn. Fair enough, although I didn't see anyone else waiting. So I waited..... Half an hour later, I went to the barrier and eventually someone came out and I asked how much longer I would have to wait... He said he didn't know I was there and that he didn't know why anyone would bother coming to "this shower" to get anything done! He came out to check what tyre I needed and I told him we'd phoned already that day to check and had been told they had stock. To which he responded that "you can't trust anything they tell you"! I was then instructed to drive in and he completed the change in about 20 minutes. I have been a long term customer with many visits and purchases over many years but I'm not sure that I would go there again.
Driving to Abingdon this morning and warning light came on to show low tyre pressure, stopped and noticed a nail in rear tyre. Went straight to Abingdon Tyre Sales who fitted me in and replaced my tyre really quickly. Thank you so much
Ordered 2 tyres on line. Arranged to be fitted on a day that suited me. Turned up on the day. They are very aware of current Covid situation and well organised around this. Stood at door as instructed and was attended to straight away. Had my Fone in my hand. Chap said is this a online order I said yes and instantly told pull into bay 1. And tyres instantly fitted and payed for. Great service. They will be seeing me again.
I was out of town and having trouble with my gears. I went to Trye Sales Abingdon (the nearest local garage) I met a very nice and helpful man called Dustin. He not only fixed the problem in under 5 minutes, but he also went above and beyond to answer my questions about my tyres and car tracking. He checked everything for no charge! He gave me really informative advice and consequently the car is now running a lot better. He had no intention of selling his me services; but getting me on the road in a safe vehicle. For that I am truly thankful.
